Beatrix Ghostleigh was born on the 1st of May, 1865, to uncertain parents, in Merry Court, Bristol. She served as a verger in St. Peter’s Gate Church in return for humble board and lodging, until her untimely death in 1875.

These days, she hovers around and casually observes the zeitgeist, chiming in with her cavalier opinions on whatever matter strikes her fancy.
